If only spm would be just like that.

Yesterday, i got my bicycle stolen. My only mode of transport. My only vehicle to show off in. I thought i would never forgive the people who've nicked my pride and joy.

Turns out the nippy form 4 syndicates took mine and mogan's bicycle and were pissing on stones just to sell our bicycles. And just now i went to claim what's mine. We went to our thief's house for a discussion.

We got our bicycles back. I got my bicycle back, without any bloodshed, or bruised eyes. Just amicably worked things out with our thief's mother who i have full backing and sympathy for having such a scumbag son. But things ended up well, with mogan's parents present as well. We scared the shit out of them with the possible involvement of the police force and the consequences. But what's important is that they apologized. And they did. I know, anyone can freaking apologize and dont mean it, but somehow, i just saw that little glint of sincerity and regret in their eyes, and the seriously sorry handshake. Haha. I'm contented.

The only thing i've not gotten back is the keys to my bicycle lock which i was promised, would be returned tomorrow.

And no grudges against them but those guys need a good beating in prison. Just to knock some rationality into them.

Weeks after weeks after weeks, fly just by.

Its a freaking wonder how we have finally ended up in the month of June. New year seems just like last week, christmas seems like the week before, and yesterday seems closer than yesterday. For all you know, we're already long past our seemingly useless spm and paying for child support, then in a short while, we'll be spanking our grandchildren in and around the residential compound with the garden gnomes sniggering at us.

And then you'll find yourself lying on your death bed with the osk bleeping with synchronisation to your heartbeat and throngs of family members standing in and out of your ward when your vision slowly blurs and you auditorily fail. Your heart rate peacefully declines. You suck in that final exchange of air and then darkness.

Then you awaken at any point in your life and you just realise its only just a dream.

Since we'll never know until we actually are living the moment, that's how my perception of death would be. You take your final breath and fall into a deep sleep only to be awaken by your alarm clock back at some point of life. Your own, or maybe another person's. A cycle.

Anyway.

The main thing is to complain how time flies. Its staggering how you look back and see all those times you once anticipated are now a distant past.

Its beautiful how life unfolds itself and interestingly at the same time how cruel it can be. What else can we do but take it in our stride?

And take it in our stride we will. My weekends now are boring. Usually for me is to waste it away. Maybe once or twice i would have futsal or rock climbing escapades. But since my membership has expired and i'm still to renew it, and with everyone tied to their house leash, it gets really quiet around here.

At least today i went over to mlia's. Apparently she doesnt know how to download songs(i know what you're all thinking. jakun! :p). So i got a nice little ares for her. Downloaded a few songs for demonstration in which she is now very much a pro and also giggle hysterically to happy tree friends. I even helped out with her star pizza hut project or something like that. She was doing an artwork on the environment so i helped paint and repainted the black on her half polluted earth which looks quite like

Quite fascinating aint it? Haha. Well at least i did something today and that something isn't about wasting beautiful sunny(HOT!!) sundays. Plus i got to spend time with mlia. I am very much contented.

Oh and pictures from xr's birthday party at TGI fridays are in compilation. I'm too impatient to let so many pictures load.

And i'm expecting germany, portugal, brazil, and spain to qualify for the semi-finals. Mark my words.

First off, congratulations to Astro for their 10th year anniversary. Providing us with the best home entertainment since Mega TV got its ass kicked.

And i'm sure we're all very familiar with the Astro monthly programme catalogue that has been dilligently circulating to our doorsteps without fail every month. And if i'm rather not mistaken, the design of it changes almost every year though i remember my last time reading one was when it was in a4 size with orange borders. But somehow, times have changed.

For some uncanny reason, Astro have decided to display 11 gangly dudes and dudettes with unnaturally dyed lion-mane hair and uneven teeth in their july issue.

Publicity stunt to exploit into the chinese community? The future generation of chinese people? The "in" in fashion? We can only guess. But there's one thing we do know. Astro CAN produce better cover girls and boys like they've had rather than ghastly images of ghastly people in ghastly clothes. And oh, THOSE HAIR.

Its not that i'm prejudiced or being a racist of my own race. Its just that its very scary where young chinese are going nowadays. Especially into the fashion industry. Whats with the dyed frizzy hair? With lion manes and straight fringes?

And that guy on the top left with his green striped "i'm guessing its a" singlet. The plunge line of the neck is so low, and without even a tinge of a cleavage, its horrendous. Its like everyone's just trying so hard so be metrosexual. Ah and again, THE HAIR!! Change your wallet-burning hairdressers and stick to the 10 ringgit indian barber lah.

I'd like to stress however that its only my opinion and my loathe towards ugly clothes and dyed frizzy hair. Its really funny. Worryingly funny.

For the past 5 days or so, this is what hinders me from being a real grown up.

Sadly its been an uninspirational week since my last entry. School decided to restart, and results decided to show up. Speaking about results, it can be said that i'm quite contented with what i got although obviously, there ARE still room for improvement depending on the capacity of my brain left empty.

So my full list of results for the mid term.
1. Bahasa Malaysia - 68%
2. English - 90%
3. Modern Maths - 68%
4. Additional Maths - 26%
5. Chemistry - 43%
6. Physics - 60%
7. Biology - 62%
8. History - 72%
9. Moral - 77%
10. E.S.T - 88%
11. P.E - 70%

I know i know, its unattractive and i know results like these will never get me far. What's important is the vast improvement of the average total from 55% the last term to a 65% this term. Hardly important but highly motivating.

Topic off academics,

PJ Half Marathon this morning was quite a drag. Although i reached my objective of completing the 10km race in the top 100 but i personally feel that im capable of a more decent finish than 90th. Maybe its the muscle cramps, or the long lay off from training, but my spot on the podium on sports day could be in jeopardy as well. I did run a good race though, with my earphones, i ran probably the most relaxing 10km i've had with the help of system of a down and james blunt playing on mp3.

The map of the route. Starting at the mppj stadium to the subang airport highway and down federal highway, past freescale, on the san fran bridge, into ss3 and back to the stadium.

The sense of authority when traffic polices are stationed to stop cars so that you can pass is overwhelming. Like you're so special to mppj.

On a different note. Xr has been bugging me for a birthday post since probably the holidays started. So this is for xr then.

HAPPY (BELATED)* BIRTHDAY XR! *belated birthday post

Toh Xue Rou. You're one year older, possibly one year wiser, but definately one year more bimbotic. :) And to celebrate that, we had a dinner celebration at TGI Fridays in ou on the 26th of may 2006. Like always, it was an amusing affair.

Due to some difficulties in posting pictures. They will only make an appearance in the next post.

One of those least anticipated days of our lives.

If you all are still hovering in the holiday mood, indulge while you can because in less than 10 hours we'll all be cursing and swearing at the headmistress again for giving her usual pep talk during assembly. Not to mention if it rains then we're all saved.

But its sad, that the 2 weeks i've been looking forward to have abruptly ended. Abruptly i say because i have only started to fit into the holiday groove just at the very end. I wish to have another week but bear in mind that impermanence steps in. Everything has to bloody end. Every good thing ends faster. WHY?

I can say i might be a little dissappointed with myself for not wholly utilising the mid term break.

So after the holidays, everyone's back into tense mode. The no nonsense, back in the shell mode. No one's allowed to leave the house because we're back in business and we must study our asses off kinda thing. I'm not mocking the traits of other family households or priorities. I admit that like you and me, i'm also exposed to situations as such. But the thing is, why has it got to be this way? Well, we'll never know. We just follow like sheep.

To correct myself earlier on, holland has NEVER won the world cup. Because i thought the great johan cryuff did win something when he was playing for holland, i was assuming it to be the world cup. But no stars around their emblems. So i guess they didnt actually win the world cup after all. My mistake.

So, to cap off probably my and our last ever "mid-term" break, we went gallavanting in kl on friday night. We as in, me, john, mlia, yen, jin and melissa p, had this sleepover at seri bukit ceylon service apartments in my dad's one bedroom unit. But i guess the highlight was melissa's birthday which we celebrated in sevenatenine. A club-cum-restaurant at the ascott. Filling your belly with steak, foie gras, oysters, magharitas and mocktails are the way to go, but being broke in the middle of downtown kl, is definately not. However i finally realised that moving around kl in taxis is actually very convenient although those perdana v6 cabbies can cost you a bomb. But we had fun, right?

Well i'm just sad that the holidays had to end so soon, so is my camp 5 membership which ends on the 16th. Sigh, how long more till we could all go out without worrying about anything? Academically?

Wednesday, June 07, 2006

We're almost 2 weeks into the holidays and as hasty as it came by, its soon-to-be going going gone.

One reason why i despise the shit out of myself is because no one beats me in the tendency of wasting away my holidays. I vowed to myself to at least, at the very ultimate least, that i'll devote a fraction of my holidays to educating myself in any way. And yet until now, it has not been done. Despite me wasting all my time in the world, i just cant pick myself up to do productive studying or revision or whatever. Its just not in my mind at all.

The prospect of the reopening of school is scary. Its like i've been looking forward to the mid-terms because i could at least finally get my mind off the academics and now its slowly dissolving. The schooldays strikes back.

I've finally started my own training after a 2 month lay-off. My upcoming involvement in the pj half marathon and school sports day has motivationally encouraged me to bring myself for evening runs with senior folks of ss2/43. I started a 10 mintue jog last saturday then slowly increasing my intensity to a 5 km jog on monday and 7 km today. I'm quite sure i'm slowly getting back into shape but my stamina's bollocks. And for some uncanny reason, due to hormonal imbalance, i think i secrete more sweat than i actually pee. Correct me if its a normal condition but when i say i'm "bathing" in sweat, its like i'm literally bathing in sweat.

And by the way, the numbers 666 intrigues me. What so significant about these 3 numbers of the same digit? Why cant 444 or 777 be significant as well? Pardon my shallow self if anyone of you does have the proper explanation. Satan's number you say? I've been told before that if you call the numbers 666 on your phone, you might just actually get hell's hotline. I wonder what are the call rates but hey, if 666 are satan's initials and god is the arch nemesis and flipside of satan, does that mean god's significant number is 999? I really dont understand why the date 060606 can actually instill fear into some people. Yet throngs of chinese couples choose to marry on this "auspicious" day, so 666 is a number of mixed fortunes? I wonder how many of us would build bunkers and shit ourselves on the 6th of June 2066.

Oh well, the world cup is kicking-off soon. I know i know, i dont usually write about football here for the sake of some people who would actually rather watch tv3's kisah benar than football. Nevermind the last post about the transfer speculations, the mcphee-ver is lone gone and now the real man's fever is coming. You can run, but you cant hide from it.

Personally, i'm rooting for either england or portugal. But i wouldn't write off holland. England is common among we malaysians because basicly, most of us only watch the english premier league so we dare talk and comment and crucify players from that league only. Other countries like brazil and france have an equal malaysian fan base because as far as we can remember, they're the ones who have won the world cup very recently and naturally we do support the winners. Although a number of us would somehow say we support some obscure nation when being asked so that we can boast about our football knowledge.

Why portugal you ask? Look the squad at their disposal. Everyone knows cristiano ronaldo, or luis figo. Date back the decades and you have a squadful of quality players. Capable of matching head to head records with other major nations. But even with all the talent and their glaring ties to brazil (even their player's names sound similiar), they've never won the world cup. And if you remember the euro 2004 final, losing to a toothless greek side, they're more like the underdogs. But yet, everyone seems stubborn in writing them off for the cup and always seeding them as one of the top nations, i'm sure there's a reason behind that, and they know, that portugal are capable of surprises. As for my own preferance, i like to see tricks, and no, ronaldinho or kaka aren't the only ones capable of trickery, portugal boasts of cristiano ronaldo, deco, figo, pauleta, simao and so on. Even the defenders are exciting to watch, paulo ferreira, carvalho, valente. Brazil can eat their socks.

How about holland? Unlike portugal, holland has won the world cup before, but after their triumph, who knows where they went? They went up the football rankings, and down, and simultaneously for several years until now nobody understands why they're in 2nd behind brazil in the rankings when they didn't win anything. But i would admit that right now, 2nd seems to truly reflect on how good they really are. And the best thing is, they're a young squad, old is gold, but no one wants to see a team of old hags playing in the world cup do they? The young ones catch the eyes because they're robust and full of energy, like rooney, messi, or in holland's case, van persie, robben, kuyt, or castelen. People like van nistelrooy and van bommel light the world cup on fire as well so do watch out for holland.

As for england, i think they're not going far, althout i wish they would. Everyone says that they'll still mount a challenge without rooney but its bullshit for me. Wayne Rooney is the heart and soul of the england squad and without him, they just cant hold on. Putting a 17 year old theo walcott doesnt help england one bit because all they really need is rooney. No crouch, no walcott, no defoe, maybe a little bit of owen but rooney. Look what happened to manchester united when he was injured, they sunk. And when he played for england in euro 2004, they were on fire. So they DO need wayne rooney if they are to win the world cup. Lampard and gerrard are doing well in midfield and if i were the manager, i'd put joe cole instead of stewart downing on the left, no wait, i'd rather call-up kieran richardson instead of downing. As shit and useless as he can be, england still needs david beckham's crosses from the right. And defensively, i'd put ashley cole on the left, carragher on the right with terry and ferdinand in the centre. Hell who cares, its not like they're gonna win it anyway.

Wow, i'd be surprised to see anyone still reading up to this sentence. The world cup stuff up there were like writings to amuse myself.

Till the world cup starts! I'd like to see myself get out of the house abit more. Just for the last few days of the holiday lah.

You'll never meet anyone quite like this girl. Take my words for it. I kid you not.

The last 5 months or rather 2 and half years couldn't have been more well spent with the person i call mlia.

I dont usually mock, but to all the ailing bachelors and homo/bisexual bachelorettes out there, i'm sorry but she's mine!

Some of you may see this post and then go "not again!" but heck it, suit yourself. Love is to be made known. Not swept under the rug. Besides, i find solace and satisfaction in doing stuff for mlia from the heart. Not stuff like washing her pyjamas and lingerie and serving her like a butler. But stuff that are that simple, like writing a post, or cooking up some pasta.

Anyway.

Mlia mlia mlia, we're like bonnie and clyde, the dynamic duo, laurel and hardy, pinky and the brain, whatever that comes in pairs. I tend to only look forward to going places where i know i'll see you. But you're learning your road skills and what the hell is a clutch well, so i'm sure those days of not seeing you would be numbered. I want you to know that i'm your greatest supporter, your biggest fan, your most obssesive best friend, and probably your worst but most determined motivator. And even though i may not be present physically in your times of troubles but you can always rely on the fact that i wouldn't miss it for the world to be there for you whenever i can (shopping is exempted). Just kidding! Thanks to your relentless tutorage, now i am starting to kid around and tell jokes that are absolutely senseless and laugh on my own. Not that i dont usually do it but you kinda "enhance" my abilities you know. I always think that the clocks and watches are prejudiced towards us because everytime i'm with you, time mysteriously flies by. Apart from that, i appreciate the fact that you would slap me for no apparent reason in the you whack me i whack you kinda way, which makes the relationship more enjoyable and fun to be in although i apologize for holding your hands too tight sometimes. I appreciate the fact that you love me for who i am and not what i am and as much as i love you the same way. I appreciate your trust that you put in me. I appreciate the fact that we're slowly but surely opening up more and more towards each other. I appreciate the fact that you're not just any girlfriend to me, you're like a mum, older sister, younger sister, best friend and companion all rolled into one like a cuban cigar. I appreciate YOU. I love you mlia.

Just had to do it. Its gives me the utmost satisfaction to express these kinda feelings out to the world.

Even so, i wrote all that here because i cant possibly fit everything into a 5-page long sms can i?

Oh and shoot me if i'm being corny. Heck knows when "corny" became my middle name. Horny, you've been replaced!

A half gone, another half to come.

Gone as quickly as it came, its already the middle point of 2006. Yet the new year celebrations seems like last week.

I've gotten through my mid-terms and thankfully i think i'm still sane.

Bahasa Malaysia : 68%
Pendidikan Moral : 77%
Modern Mathematics : 68%
Physics : 60%
Chemistry : 43%
Additional Mathematics : 23% (the only subject that i've been consistent in other than english.)

I screwed up another term.

Oh but fret not, because the holidays are here! 2 weeks with the obscurity of menopausal teachers and dreadful wake-up calls.

Although i must say, i've got a premonition that this holiday might just turn out to be like the ones i wasted. Those kinda holidays when you feel like you couldve done something rather than just bumming around the house.

*self plea* And please, no holidays when i strain my brain cells and i still cant think of anything to blog about. Like right now, and probably the last few and soon-to-come posts. Maybe its the impression of a burden ala my loft bed above my head that supresses my capability to eek out the recipes for a good composition of what generally goes on in my oversized(and rather empty) head.

I dunno what it may be, but something has the tendency to make me feel like an illiterate everytime i blog. Like i said, must be my loft bead overhead that symbolises as a burden above me. Same reason to why it isnt advisable to sleep on the bottom rung of a double decker bed, burden got alot. You read lilian too, you understand (but mummy read, and mummy tell).

Heck it, blogging isn't my upmost priority, it doesnt really give me the sense of achievement and satisfaction everytime i blog. Then what does?

Aha! I dont mean to brag, but...

Finally succeeding in cooking up a "quasi perfetto" white cream sauce after countless pasta wasting attempts. That, is satisfaction my friends.

I'm waiting to erupt.

How significant am i, in the lives of the people around me?
Why am i constantly overlooked?
How important is my existence?
Do you care about my well-being and how i feel?
How many of the people i know would show up for my funeral?

Save the words, your actions says it all.

Some like it fresh. Like the evening sky after a monsoon rain. :)

Here we are. At another junction of the many transformations of my blog. Say goodbye to pink lips of obscurity and a very warm hello to a more direct and less twisting title. Self-titled jinnyboyy.com.

Lets just say i'm just sick and tired of long, windy, and hard to understand titles. Its not the confusion you guys occasionally have that i'm worried about. Its mine.

Well, i'm keeping the pinkish theme of this blog because i find pink very appealing nowadays. Metrosexuality is on a high note and the best way to fight it is to go with it. Masculinity is dead i tell you. The unconvincing trinkets on my blog have been erased, all the blogger personality, and colour of my heart. I even re-customized my chatterbox to suit the background if you like. Although i'm not too happy with the way my title and foreword are being displayed. Stupid font colour comes with the blog skin and you have to strain your eyes to separate the words from the background splashes.

Faultlines should be worn with pride. Thats true. We weren't meant to spend the rest of our lives perfecting our flaws. Instead of eradicating it, we build our lives around it. Be content of how your nose turns out like a proboscis monkey or your ass like a bus tyre, it could be much worse. Nothing is flawless.

And then the exams are gone. Three weeks. And now we can blog and waste our time without feeling wasted and guilty. At least for the next month or so.

I vow to myself, with my blog readers as witnesses, that after the holidays, i WILL make myself a pretty study timetable and i WILL abide to it. Or else i WILL uninstall Pro Evolution Soccer, stop climbing and expunge my blog.

Until then, here are my plans for the holiday.
- finish the da vinci code before watching the movie.
- clean my table. (again)
- rock climb whenever i can.
- of course, those wonderfully satisfying shopping cum movie outings.
- organise a sleepover at some point.
- spend time with mlia.
- gain SOME education knowledge.
- restock on my face wash.
- not get any ulcers in that duration.
- not cry too much over my results.
- prevent a major pimple breakout.

In an unrelated case, i slept with the lights on throughout the night without realising. How did it happen? I dont know.

Here's to one week more of mind-sucking and soul-ess-ness.

The bloody exams are still here to stay until saturday, so patient i am being.

I cant remember the last time i had starved myself from blogging for more than 10 days. But in the absence of the blogging community, i have put myself into the further depths of suffering in writing essays.

How do you write a good essay? I dont know.

By far there is definately a fine line between blogging and essay writing although some people similiarise it simply because you write stuff, and you write long stuff.

The english essay writing last tuesday was probably the worst i have ever ever sat through probably since i started recieving education for it. I spent an hour and half out of an adviced 45 minutes for a 30 mark question and then it was the 100 mark choice questions. I chose to write about someone who interests me most and the whole time through i had jose mourinho in my head but i knew nuts about him. So i thought and thought and thought and the best i could come up with was..

Michael Jackson.

WHO IN THE FREAKING WORLD RISKS ALL AND WRITES ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON FOR A 100 MARK ESSAY!??!?!?!?

I was already struggling just to think of his controversies and convictions. All i know about this michael is that he's a bleached king of pop. And i still cant believe why i chose him above jose mourinho, queen elizabeth or elton john. I mean, there were so many freaking options!

Stupid me stupid me. I just robbed myself of an A1 in english.

Immersing in books for the pride.

There is always a jumpy feeling when you're surrounded by studious people. Especially when the exams draw near.

Funny how people would think its their main priority to bury their noses into books at this particular moment for an exam that is merely just to flaunt your grades and what you think would "separate" the smart from the not so smart.

Its for the sake of the upheaving ones pride and ego to be included in a "smart" group.

And then everyone starts comparing marks with weaker students just to assure themselves that there are worse.

I'm saying this because i have a low metabolism of study when the pressure is too slight. Of course i do care about my marks and my ahem pride. But well, its the foundation of accumulated lessons and revision that separates the strong and weak in studies and not just brain-power. Through and through i regret for not following up on lessons and scarce revisions, and i am almost too aware that this is the main reason for my downfall in studies for the last year and half, including this upcoming one.

Therefore i would apologize to my future self who exists after the mid-terms right now if my actions now (eg. not making consistent progression in my studies) would cause embaressment and battered pride when receiving my results.

Lets get over and done with this "taken tad bit too seriously" exam and crack brains for the REAL one instead.

Itchy scratchy single ladies.

Read the papers most recently? The one article about a kelatanese mp quoting that all divorced women apart from widows are "gatal". Flirtacious, promiscous type of gatal, unless he also has the ability to smell the itchy spots of a women's body lah.

Coincidentally, i finished up my post about conservative malaysia last night and flipped through the nst when i stumbled upon this new issue. I didnt flip actually, it was right there, on the front page.

"Uproar in Parliament over "gatal" divorcees" it blared.

Abdul Fatah Harun the guilty party, accused divorced women of being "gatal". Adding that it is the reason for the large number of failed marriages.

He thinks that its easy to tell a divorced woman from a married one by her flirtacious ways especially during a function. But we rational people very well know that divorces can occur in many different circumstances but not solely on flirtacious behaviour. Even after being shot back by the other mps and coming under-fire, this idiot still refuses to retract his statements.

What do these radical group parliament members know?

Well, maybe there is some tinge of truth in whatever he says, or it might even be through experience but as an educated member of the parliament, i'm sure everyone's expecting an uproar by his disrespect and insult to the womenfolk.

These are the times when you are utterly embaressed to be declared red-blooded malaysian men. I'm sure now all the malaysian men can hide their faces in their scrotums in shame. Especially the PAS and kelantanese men.

Some wankers should just bleach their holes for good.

Right click and go to "save as", print it out, paste it on your walls or wherever and throw darts, or tomatoes, or dung or pee on it if you'd like to. Free and exclusively for everyone who are downright disgusted by our own countrymen.

Have we really evolved? (our minds i mean)

Most of you may have heard of the "showing-affection" issue. The issue that is rather discreetly debated and not publicised for the whole of malaysia to read about and laugh at the prehistoric mindset of our government.

I recalled one weekend morning i was at breakfast with my parents. The fresh bundle of the sunday mail resting on the counter was displaying 3 combination pictures of unsuspecting couples photographed while holding hands in public areas. Managing to squeeze in 2 more pictures of hugging couples on the front headlines.

Below the captions read "ministry urged by the public to define immoral behaviour".

Apparently a chinese couple are now fighting for their future and integrity in court because they were caught by officers while showing affection to each other in public. And from what i know, the couple were hugging or more decently "showing affection" when they were approached.

Immoral behaviour you say?

Yes. French kissing or petting(sexual meaning, nothing to do with animals) in public is definately an indecent act what more sex? But hugging? And hugging in this case means the loving warm kinda hug and not the touchy touchy kind. Holding hands?! Even talking about it seems ridiculous. Malaysia does seem to be progressing well, growing in population, high rise industrial locations and world class skyscrapers are sprouting out like mushrooms. These are the things that makes us proud, that puts us on the world map so that foreigners would not think that malaysia is a part of china anymore. But look at the protocol of how things are being run here. In a whole different way, it makes most of us and me embaressed to be a citizen of malaysia.

Lim Kit Siang did say in his journal that in a certain way, the government has got to draw a fine line between law and religion. Its understood that certain religions may prohibit showing affection publicly but that rule does NOT abide to others who are of other religions. And a person of that certain conservative religion is founded guilty, the authorities of that particular faith should take action only. Law of malaysia and law of a religion is a different concept altogether.

It is worrying, that somehow maybe when mahathir presented vision 2020, he might have this vague image of every malaysian being robots by that time. No affection, no love around, love only exists behind closed doors.

Put aside the sheer irrationality of general and turn to the schools. It may be implemented only in my school that a snapshot of 2 people of different gender is considered indecent. One glaring example is the selections of class layout by certain teachers for the school magazine. Photos and even whole layouts have been rejected because "this guy is too close to this girl" when both heads are almost a yard apart, or "guys are not supposed to stand beside girls".

And ironically, it seems that the goverment is shocked at the responses of many young adults who are still in the dark of what a vagina is or how do babies come about. Urging schools and private societies to emphasise heavily on sex education for the youth.

One corner we have plans to bombard youths with sex education and how to have an open mind and in another corner our asses are being busted for showing affection openly.

My religion abstains me from false speech. But sadly that is hard to oblige to especially when we're being force-feeded with glorious praises for this country in moral education when we very well know its as bullshit as it can get. Sucks, but we have no other choice if we want that A1.

All those possibilites of us humans evolving into far intelligent lifeforms in the near future can be scratched out because we're actually devolving. Especially malaysians.

It would be sweet if we could re-experience old ones rather than make new ones.

Memories. Dont you think? Reliving the moments that were engraved into your mind and soul. The moments that you recall everytime you just stare into thin space. Your feelings at that very particular moment and of course what a wonderful spectacle it was.

I day dream about my memories. Sometimes it doesnt just feel merely like a daydream but like i'm revisiting the past. Of course those are the times that i enjoy resurfacing the exact moments in my mind when i'm in the mood to stay quiet, feel the breeze and stare out into the sky. I do that all the time. It gives me a brief sense of euphoria just thinking about the good memories.

I can still remember vaguely, one that still plays crystal clearly in my mind. The expedition to Kapas island 2 years ago. That night the skies were in a heavenly state. I remember just spreading a canvas sheet out in the darkness of the beach, and lying there, my senses soaking up everything possible. The smell of the sun-dried sand, the feel of the strong yet subtle monsoon wind, the sound of the tides coherently gushing onto shore and retreating back, the extravagant night sky with an abundance of stars no one could ever imagine. The best part is just that feeling of weightlessness and serenity in the darkness with everyone just lying on the beach, staring into the star-filled sky and the harmonious orchestra of tropical nature serenading us. At that point of time, you just let go of all your doubts, even if you cant, it'll go. It was just, perfect.

Or lying on the jetty of Sapi island, during expedition on the eve of tsunami day, oblivious to the strong gusts. I just laid there on the wooden planks and stared into the moon-illuminated cloudy night sky with the occasional rumble of thunder and every bit of tension all gone. I remember whispering to myself. "What a wonderful world".

Even the some of the simplest situations can be a pleasant memory to me. The feeling of anticipation and excitement when me and john were on the bus en route to taking that cable car up to genting highlands and the whole 3 days itself. Or at the time when everyone you cherish comes together and you have a blast. And the freedom of the holidays. Or maybe just spending quality time with the people or person you love.

These are those memories i constantly playback on loop in my head just for the wonderful feeling of it.

And then it makes you go "how i wish i could pause now and go back to then".

You only look back when there's nothing else to look forward to.
