nervous!!

gosh tmrw is the first competition of the year.. the much awaited mssd zon.. ill be taking part in 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m... as usual.. nervousness is slowly filling me up.. lets just pray i do a better job than the years before.. im too nervous to think of anything to write!!.. dohhh....

Chinese New Year 2005

How would you feel, if you were rudely awokened from your beauty sleep by the clankering and distinctly irritating melodies of Chinese New Year songs?.. Frustrated is probably the word you're looking for.. imagine, playing cny songs in the car on the way back to m'cca is already bad, picture playing it at 7.30 am with the volume knob as high as it can be.. but as usual, every parent has the same excuse given, "build up the cny spirit".. crap! Oh well, apart from that, the past 2 days were filled with fun, food, ang pows, anything you could ever want from the annual trip back "home".. minus the damn humid weather of course! The most enjoyable thing would most probably be the reunion dinners and lunches.. except for the vegetarian (you got that right! VEGETARIAN!!) dinner.. my 5 year old cousin could make something much more similiar to a fish with toothpicks than what the chefs did to the "deep fried "fish"".. plus the 10 mins intervals between each dishes.. and NO wine!!.. the trauma hasnt gone, but ive been stuffing myself with meat ever since.. we even joked about buying Big Macs for everyone at the dinner.. well, i guess that'll be the first and last time we'll ever have a VEGETARIAN reunion whatsoever.. retired to grandma's old house for the night, the weather was killing! even during the night, the air was warm.. so me whole family were all ordered to bathe before going to bed, even tub water was warm! but as long as u can refresh yourself in a wonderfully clean toilet ( i washed it!! haha).. who cares??!.. Luckily, stayed in m'cca for one night only, as dad didnt see the point in staying for long coz everyone who used to be down there, are all shifted up here in kl.. those good ol days are sooo long gone.. those days when my group of close cousins played Power Rangers in grandma's old house (used to be Tun Tan Cheng Lok's Holiday Villa, located in Gajah Berang) using transporting carts and wheel-barrows, when we used to gamble around the huge table.. damn i miss those days! Oh well, times change, we change too, but the memories will stay on forever..... peace!

Sticks and stones may break my bones....

Im just too lazy these few days.. but well, ill hafta update this blog sooner or later.. generally, no main highlights in the month of January, got into a happening class, started intensive training, got the green house vice-captain post, 4 times a week tuitions, started drums, thats about it i suppose.. owh and mssd merentas desa to rap things up for january.. come into the month of February, i havent done much to usher in the much anticipated chinese new year actually, besides, its all been done for.. mum bought another small clay pond for the backyard!??! and dad brought home this funny looking balinese lamp for our garden, which really looks like a person's head amongst the plants with the tuft of hair above anything else.. scaryy.. owh and oscar's got a new cage.. haha. lets just hope he doesnt pee till the steel erodes again... ill be back in my hometown this wednesday, for one night only.. *thankfully!!* all me mum's side's relatives are all up here in kay el.. so theres really no point in staying back in m'cca for such a long time like my family used to.. i just cant wait for the reunion lunches and dinners, gambling! yeaa... haha.. a one time in a year way to earn fast money.. not to mention the red packets too! talking about red, my house looks like a taoist temple! as soon as u step into the house.. u can feel it..the vibe of redness! i dunno how to explain it.. but somehow.. it really affects me psychologically... lol.. lets just hope ill make a hefty income off this coming cny.. im dying for it! peace!

Magnificent December...

Whow.. one month since my last entry and it only seemed like one week!! Well, basicly i spent my entire December in east M'sia on an expedition, in case u need extra explanation bout the word expedition, it means travelling adventurously... It started on the 3rd of December when i stepped into a AirAsia Boeing 737 for the first time in 4 years to Kuching International Airport.. as i stepped into Sarawak soil, boy did it feel good, i was ready as ever to spend another 25 days exploring places with another 26 more magnificent people.. From national parks to towns, hotel to tents, trekking to river-rafting, caving to climbing, fun and experience came in many different ways.. as the Kelab Kembara motto goes, Embark, Explore, Experience.. but throughout the whole trip, the best of the best for me was witnessing the sunrise on the highest place in South East Asia.. a view which one who hasnt been there could only dream.. i was definately impressed by the majestic scenary of the Land under the Wind.. ill try posting pictures of my trip when i do get them, so people, please be patient.. lol.. in addition to my Magnificent December list, are my unexpected results of 7as.. boy did i surprise everyone, even myself.. but well, at least i did prove some people wrong that athletes only have brawns but no brains.. i wanna thank so many people for my recent results, but to make it short, i wanna thank everyone involved in motivating me.. especially mum and dad, for nagging at me when i was glued to the computer screen.. Pn.Molly, my tuition teacher for her science and maths notes.. and to May Vern and Jie Feng, for following me to school to collect the results and slapping me when i was whimpering nervously in the car.. i bet u guys remember that! and of course, to everyone i know.. ur love and support are very much appreciated..!! THANK YOU!! 2004 has been a really great year, so i wanna say Thank You 2004 for making me a better person than before and hello 2005! Happy New Year people!! my new year's resolution is to train myself to bring Oscar (my dog) out for walks every evening because my new maid doesnt know how to handle that little devil.. damn!!

Imagine training under the merciless Cameron Highlands weather for 10 days straight, 2 sessions a day without bling bling and a lack of water supply.. luckily there were a few clowns and a whole lotta crap talk to make me survive.. thank you eric, potential stripper in our athletic's team (refer to Saidati for his pay-per view strip show caught on tape!) thank you ming hee, for his unpredictable temperament and wicked baby-ish cries.. thank you mogan, for keeping the "eye-rolling, finger-pointing" gang very much alive.. thank you jeck shen, for his undoubtly silly Star Wars immitation in HOKKIEN!!.. thanks jordan for helping me with the plates.. thanks rina, sheena, lee jen, josef for giving the most of help in making the kitchen a very very convenient and pleasent place to be.. :p.. and thank you everyone for making this Cameron training stint a well wicked and enjoyable one!! damn! i sound like im recieving an Oscar!! oh! and THANK YOU xuan xian and wesley for telling me "something" ran past my back while i was washing the damn plates!! 8(..... i swear i didnt feel a thing! and jordan didnt even see it when he was actually looking over my back! creeppyy..!! Last but not least, thanks to my coach, Mr.Zol for bearing with my.. i mean our smelly underwears and wet sweaty shirts hanging round the room, i bid u good luck sir for keeping ur Unicorn gang alive! haha.. well, there u have it! my official thank you speech straight from the bottom of my heart... iyo ey.. peace!!

Well, waddya know? One year ago and one day ago, i was sitting all alone on my dining table slurping down cup noodles and yesterday i just had the best day of the year so far.. time flies! What were you thinking?? It was my Birthday!! smacked on the 10th day of November.. sometimes i really wished mum would've delivered me either 9 months earlier or 2 months later!! But hey, i cant do anything except be thankful that i was actually made!! haha... thats all for today! peace!!

life is such...

Life after major exams arent always as glamorous as you actually think it is.. for instance, in my situation, ive passed days merely by commiting myself to a creaky computer chair, staring straight into a glaring computer screen knowing that one more day like this and i'll end up wearing thick grandma glasses, yet everytime i lift myself off that chair, i seem to find much more amusement staring into the computer screen again.. nevertheless, a big bowl of chips might add in some kick...... and pile up the weight...the good news is, i finally got back to athletics training after almost 2 months of "no-training" days, and being back after the long break is no doubt rejuvenating but straining on my unfit state.. plus, intensive training is as close as ever... so i'll have to prepare myself fast or end up ill-fated.. by the way, i wanna say thank you to everyone who's been keeping up on my blog till this far.. it'll definately keep me striving on cracking my brains to give you the best of my blogs..!!

S'pore RAWKS!!

ONE full day in S'pore is just enough to impress me.. the cleaniness, the discipline of the residents there, the way everyone crosses the road when the walking lights turn green, the way no one dares to jaywalk.. S'pore is one big civilised floating metropolis with lots and lots of big, luxurious cars.. speaking bout S'pore, even the toilets were clean enough to impress me, let alone the shopping malls and my hotel room!... lol.. more to brag about but i guess ill just keep it to myself for the meantime... lol... ask me if you really really wanna know what i did there!.. lol.. lets just hope the next time ill be hopping into a transport on a 5 hour journey to our wonderful neighbour called Singapore isnt too far way!!..

finally.. a gasp of breath..

pmr seemed so long ago.. nevertheless i especially miss those five days of intense pressure and 6.20am wake up calls.. but well, all good things have to come to an end.. (gasp of relief) same goes to the bad things too.. i think... besides, the end of pmr isnt as exciting and relieving as i once thought.. its boring and the loneliness is endless.. i need an escape.. somewhere far.. or maybe i'll just sit in my room whining on why my friends dont care to call me out or even inform me of any plans.. well, like my blog title says.. and my newfound motto?: 'put a toe into my damned life and you be the verdict!'

Doomsday(s) on my doorstep...

ONE day, ONE day, ONE day... it'll keep ringing from the moment i wake up till i fall into dreamland again.. and the disturbing thing is the "off" switch is 6 days away.. frankly speaking, im as nervous now as i am before a damned 1500m race.. but "running" PMR is more like running a 10km marathon.. the thought of giving up constantly flickering in your mind.. and you strive to tell yourself that the finish line is around the corner.. thats is what PMR is to me.. well to sum up the pressure.. my relatives and bossy uncles and aunties love comparing me to my sweet, petite, PTS student, smarty pants cousin.. (thats what they did during UPSR!!) speaking of UPSR, it seems like the last day of UPSR was just 5 days ago.. and its hard to believe that it was actually 3 years ago.. gosh! time flies! and the worst thing is theres no safety harness to secure you to time's wings.. so you keep falling.. down and down and down.. (i dont even know what that means.... ;p hehehehehe)

2 days!!!!!!

2 days, 2 days, 2 days... it keeps ringing in my head like a fire bell.. yet, little effort has been done to prepare myself for Doomsday(s).. while everyone else are busy cracking their brains, poking their heads into books and notes.. im here, im writing a blog when i really should be fulfilling my friday schedule of science study.. as uninteresting as it sounds, tomorrow would be intensive study day to make up all the time i spent sleeping, blogging, chatting when im supposed to be studying.. ish! but hey! its eujinn.. famous for procrastinating and postponing studies until days or hours before a major exam.. like some "new era" teens say: "studying, apart from depression, is a form of hell on earth"..no??! well, at least for me!

panic is arising....

As much as i would not want to admit.. PMR is in a mere 3 days.. and i havent done nuts!.. apart from all the exercises.. i "think" im doing fine.. but hey.. the good news is, Doomsday(s) end in 7 days from now.. thats exactly one week... and after that... its more or less 2 months of nothing but fun.. well, at least before the heavy critisms kick in from aunties and uncles, teachers and parents... hopefully my results would be good enough to shut them up!! Well, reap what you sow mr. chia eu jinn! good luck to you!

im back for more blog... gee.. i think im getting addicted to this.. the worst thing is... getting addicted to something on the net 4 days before my PMR exams... and i realized that there are no guys around blog.. well..maybe i cant find one... YET... i keep feeling that the end is getting nearer and nearer... wtv that means.. my maid had a freaky dream last night.. she dreamt that i was bitten and scratched by a huge black canine with its sharp assets and i was literally bleeding to my death... until my maid came to the rescue... haha... my maid dreamt she decapitated the dog and the "headless dog" continued attacking both of us... ish! the more i type the creepier it gets.. and the stomach churning part is, she dreamt the dream not once...but twice on the same night!! bad omens...bad omens... issshhhhhhhhh...
