Achtung! Productivity Detected...

Yeehaw! Finally! i accomplished something productive which ive been planning way before the holidays, that's right, the ultimate clean-up of my bedroom and study area. With American Idiot blaring off the stereos, i managed it in a mere 2 hours!........

Oh and everyone's beginning to fall sick, sis realised she had fever this morning in college, i wonder what kinda food do they serve there! and my friend Amira, also a victim of high fever, gee, i wonder who's next... me?

Anyway, check out the pics of "The Spick and Span condition of my hive".... enjoy!

And to the fever-ees, do get well soon!

This is what i've been waiting.. AMERICAN IDIOT! Posted by Hello
FINALLY!! i got back to training this morning after 2 months of couch-potato-ing and munching on junk food! it wasnt easy to be jogging and running again after my 2 months of bumming therefore spurns me to entitle my training come back as "Eu Jinn's Road To Recovery", hell yeah, its the road to recovery from a fat slug to a 22 secon' clocker for 200m!! and im not kidding! so neither should any of you!...

as fast as time flies, its less than one more week to the first day of the new term, and no disrespect to all ya school-love-ers and geeks out there, but school is as good as a pizza washed down a toilet-bowl! and oh can you imagine? after this holiday of 11 am wake up calls, back to the 6.30am nagging of mums and dads... holy, id rather have Paris Hilton asking me out on a date!

So once again, i reckon i have spent my work pay in a really really convincing way, yes, i bought AMERICAN IDIOT!! ive been eyeing on it ever since it was released, but i guess this time i had the extra $$$ to get it, so, cheers to ya Green Day fans out there, and oh of course, to Green Day themselves for creating this anti-american governement piece of sweet sweet music...

"The representative of California has the floor,
Zieg Heil to the president gasman,
Bombs away is your punishment,
Pulverize the eiffel towers,
Who criticize your government,
Bang Bang goes the broken glass,
Kill all the fags that dont agree,
Trials by fire setting fire,
Is not a way that's meant for me!!
Just cause, just cause we're outlaws!"

- Short anti-US piece of Green Day's Holiday
Take me away to the next concert please? anyone?
Cheers...

30th and 31st May 2005, Chia Eu Jinn learnt a valuble lesson: "Money doesnt come easily"
Sunday afternoon, 29th May, just as i was planning my week to keep me all up and active so i wont fall into the abyss of being a couch potato, fei came calling for a job offer, seems that his dad who is the owner of Canvas Art in Tmn Tun staged up an exhibition in the National Art Gallery entitled Dirgahayu, basicly, it was a huge archive of photos of the sultans and the history of the states still ruled by sultans, so the next morning, 4 of us who turned up to help(or is it just the alluring salary of RM70 a day)... hmm.. we'll never know.. we were then briefed about what to and what not to do in the National Art Gallery, our "seems simple but f*cking hard" task of taking down, wrapping and transporting an approximate number of 1000+ photos with rough wood frames measuring a scary 1m x 1m.. and oh of course, our 30 minute lunch break...

i guess apart from running and jumping and banging ourselves into flimsy walls in the gallery, the more memorable thing of the whole thing was the lunch break, we would go into this posh, artistic cafe located under the gallery, with its store-room turned toilet and whacky acrylic paintings on canvas hung on the walls all over.. the food, thankfully, are all reasonably priced so we would order 2 servings each with some finger food in the middle and hearing the waitress go "wah! kamu makan sarapan pagi atau tengah hari??" or "wah! order lagi!!?" well i guess the food was more enjoyable having the cashier giggling at every order you make...

our job went incomplete the first day over, so instead of a one-day job, it strecthed to the next day, little did we know that we will be getting paid another RM70 for the 2nd day's work.. and the entitlement of another lunch break! so in the end, we got back to fei's dad's office and recieved our pay of RM120 (RM20 has been deducted for lunch of the 1st day), all i can say is that fei's parents are 2 very very lovely people having providing us RM 10 for transport home and RM 30 for mamak after work.. gee thanks feixiang and his parents for giving me this opportunity to realize how hard it is to be earning cash.. oh and if ya parents need anymore help fei, dun hesitate to ask..!

so, while i was working my ass off earning cold hard cash, some of the other fellas were spending dough out there, and today, i spent a quarter of my pay on Audioslave's new album.. and i reckon its well worth it...

I can quite say, today's outing to the cinema was one of the most suspenseful ones ive ever had.. jun wei purchased House of Wax tickets for 10 of us, knowing it was a 18 plus movie, we decided to go in pairs to make things less obvious, so sanjay and sherri got in, then eric and ee jin, then fei and leely, then it was jun wei and ben's turn, according to ben's words:" jun wei la.. go show the tickets faced up! damn obvious summore!!... i have a strong feeling that it might be ben's "NOT 18" look which resulted to the cinema bouncers asking us for their ic s.. in other words, denied entry.. and the "best" they could do is to run towards me and sue zan with the cinema bouncers still watching they're every move.. the authorities kindly got our tickets changed to Star Wars, and after getting pass the bouncer guys, the plan was obvious, the other 3 ran towards cinema 3 which was the oppostie side of cinema 7 where Star Wars was playing... and me, noticing one bouncer guy was tailing us, i walked towards cinema 7 and found myself a seat to catch my breath.. i then called eric to inform me on the movements of the cinema bouncers who are hot on the trails of the 4 of us, slowly and deftly, i crept into cinema 3 and sat on the first empty chair i found, constantly looking over my back to see if any of the bouncers came in with a torchlight, if they did, i was dead meat.. i was more relieved thinking that the other guys were on the other end of the cinema, and i was on my own, which would be easier for me to get out fast after the show.. when suddenly sanjay turned around from the front seat going :"jinn, jinn, is that u?.. come sit beside us laaa" and then i peeked over sanjay and i saw the whole gang sitting directly in front of me.. =.=" no doubt after the show, i was the first to leave, noticing a cinema bouncer standing outside the cinema when everyone was pouring out.. i pretended to be observing the infrastructure of the wall.. well, i can gladly tell you it all went well, my experience of a cat and mouse game...

at least i spent my last 2 days earning cash instead of lazing around at home and rooting myself on the computer chair in front of the screen, and from my point of view, i throughly deserve the outing today to help me unwind after a hard 2 days work, watching Paris Hilton getting impaled by a lunatic mass murderer IS amusing after all!!...

*owh and according to someone's indirect comment, i understand i have a bad sense of fashion..

T.G.I.F

thank god its friday!! that thought kept running through my mind throughout my whole outing to 1u today...

The day started off with teacher's day in school, kembara was organizing the telematch for the teachers so i was station assistant, apart from filling balloons and folding newspapers for my station early in the morning, ive only gone a few shades darker.. well, after the presentations in the hall and stuff, hung around school for abit cleaning up and stuff, then had en.zol send me home...

as soon as i got back, i was rushing my ass off, little did i know that ben already gone home early from school, and by the time i was eating my fish porridge, ben was already about to leave for 1u, sis left for gym 5 minutes too early, knowing ben's house is just a stone throw away from mine, i took a (unbelievable) 1 minute bath, 30 second dress-up, and then ben's ride came along with eric and cy at approx 1.10, note, movie starts at 1.15...

i didnt know child's play seed of chucky was in the cinema for ages already, thinking it was a new release, i expected the cinema to be sandwich-packed, walking in, i saw a couple sitting on the top-most row, and a family sitting on the 2nd row, and considering my group had 8 people, the whole cinema 1 of TGV was "filled" by *if im not mistaken* 15+ people... and to make things worst, Child's Play Seed of Chucky is a mixture of BIG FLOP and Lame! imagine 9 bucks! gone just like that!... :p

After all the screaming and amusement of Chucky and co. , we then moved on to TGI Fridays where we pretty much spent our afternoon laughing, squeling, anything that would make the occupants of tables around (its around and NOT beside only!) present us with akward stares.. plus it was xr's birthday, so after all the fajitas, buffalo wings and my november sea breeze topped with "advice" from sanjay about flirting and playa-ing, the TGI guys got xr to stand on a chair and gave her a watering spray, as lame but amusing as it seems, they got her to sing a song with the spray, accompanied by the TGI's rendition of happy birthday, they then present her a choco mocha ice cream cake absolutely free (though eric thought the price of the cake was indirectly charged together with the service tax)... -.-"

This is part of a scenario of me and eric while he was checking out shirts in WH:
(noticing a WH staff was behind folding shirts)
Me: *with amplified voice* eh, eric, in jail, wat shirt colours do they have??
(shop staff turns to stare)
Eric: shut up
Me: no seriously, i heard inmates get alot of choices...
Eric: *tries hard to ignore my comments**chooses a shirt**turns to shop staff* erm, may i know where's the changing room..?
(shop staff points to direction of changing room.... still staring)
Me: eh eric! really... what colour shirts do they have???!!!
Eric: ok thanks...... *points to shirt resting on his arm* this is for guys raight??
Shop staff: yes...... *sudden sceptical look* why?????.....
Eric: *walks away*
Me: haha.. eric! she thinks you're an inmate!!*breaks into uncontrolable laughter*

that was one of the many crazy stuff we did there, and then of course after it all, i had another amusing scenario at home during dinner:
(note: conversations have been translated to english, mine from simple basic teochew, great-grandma's from ancient teochew with a thick accent)
(steps into the kitchen after ben's mum dropped me off. Grandma and great-grandma both having dinner)
Me: halloo "lau ma"...
G.grandma: faster eat! you just came back from work??
Me: yea, to earn money to buy the food you're eating now.. *grins*
G.grandma: where are your parents?
Me: still working laaaa
G.grandma: owh, they must earn alot every month! how much? 20 cents?(refering to back then)
Me: errr no... now they earn in thousands.. *laughs*
G.grandma: *laughs along* so your dad works for a malay company?
Grandma: *budges in* yea....
G.grandma: they captured him???*shows concern* (refering to back then when the chinese communist were at war with the malaysian police)
Grandma: NOla....... =.="*continues eating*
Me: errrrr.......... haha... =.=" *continues eating*
G.grandma: *laughs again*......

those were a few to almost sum up my wonderful Friday... Thank God Its Friday!!... cheers! :p

Firstly, i would like to pinpoint that, to me, writing a blog isnt the easiest thing in the world, i have bad bad memory, so if i do find something to write about, by the time i get to this page, it'd be long gone.. so guys, please be patient...

Well, exams almost over now, it just struck me how fast time has passed since my last post about my meaningless collage of my prized possesions. Without a doubt, i have shat myself in the important papers.. watching everyone pulling off wonderful results isnt doing me any good.. therefore, i have solemnly vowed to myself that i will put my time-managment skills to the test and chart myself a time-table for the 2nd term.. who knoes how far it'll go.. i remember the last time i made myself a flimsy time-table, every column seemed like "rest-time" to me..

I read through a few blogs over the net the past few days, and i came across this Iraqi girl's blog, it amazes me how perfect and zesty her english was considering she stayed around down-town Baghdad where suicide bombing and american bombardment has become a daily routine there, i had fun reading her blog, in one paragraph she stated "Santa Claus'd better knock on my door before he comes in, for any breach of my private property without notice would put him face to face with a Kalashnikov", that sentence shows how cautious Iraqi people have become mainly due to the american occupation in major parts of Iraq and how the rebels have not made their tasks easier.. Neighbours walking to the cross-junction to get daily groceries in the middle of the chaotic town and being blown up by car-bombs or rocket propelled ammunitions have already been a norm ever since the reign of Saddam the tyrant has been toppled.. While we here are hoping for Xboxes and PSPs for christmas, im sure the people of Iraq have wished for nothing more than torchlights and rations... think about it...

On the other hand of war and terror, its Wesak today and well, tommorow's a holiday! :p
oh anyway, i spent half my day at my Buddhist Society selling ice-kacang!.. thats right! ice kacang!.. well, i guess its something like a family tradition, my parents have been selling ice kacang during Wesak for almost decade now, and me, from a defiant little boy wiping tables and collecting used bowls to bossing around the stall.. its tiring and the customers keep on coming, although everything at the carnival are being sold using coupons, i guess it was worth it.. i mean, come on... its Wesak! it happens ANNUALLY! yea.. so you actually buy a coupon book which is 10 ringgit and erm.. your money goes to the building fund of the society, we're gonna build a new building in BU, and then i can have my drumset there! haha.. well, so every single cent counts into the building fund.. i just got back btw, after cleaning up and playing with helium, you know breathing helium makes your voice sound like you've got an orange up your throat.. amusingly fun...

Lets just hope we wouldnt have to wait for too long to the appearance of my next post.. cheers!

Picture this, me, sitting at the dining table, my grandmother on my left, my great grandmother on my right, both watching me and my pizza, and i mean literally watching..

A few issues have been brought to mind these few days, firstly about the blog spamming, i feel its a real tragedy to be having someone posting negative comments about you and your friends, especially on chatterboxes and stuff.. i mean, its disgraceful, but not to the person who manages the blog, it is to the person who's posting all these comments with an anonymous profile, xr, constantly a victim of blog spamming, and i had it once before, but i dont take it seriously, because if that anonymous wants me to know how much of a negativity i am, i dont see why profiles need to be kept un-shown.. so, i usually take stuff like as pinches of salt, i mean why get worked up over it, if anonymous doesnt respect you and the site you share your thoughts and experiences with, then why respect anonymous and his comments? right?

My great-grandma is currently residing in my house again after being discharged from UH, and as unbelievable as it seems, she has becomed more lively, she talks more, she tells amusing stories about her "journeys" to weird places, she walks without much help and she eats more! im guessing the sodium and glucose mixed in her drips at the hospital. Dad was telling me the other day, when she fainted, she didnt practically faint, she was erm, kinda on her way to you know.. death, dad said when he saw her feet were pointing downwards instead of the normal sleeping position we usually aquire where our toes point upwards, toes pointing downwards when someone is "sleeping" are dues to muscle stiffness (theres a name for it, i totally forgot!) which can only happen, when someone is no more... alive... so dad said he gave himself 2 choices, its either great-grandma passes away right here on the bed of our maid's room, or she get sent immediately to the hospital and hopefully with MUCH luck, be saved, well.. the desicion was obvious and who couldve imagine how lively she could be after being discharged! If great-grandma was back in Muar last Tuesday, she couldve slipped into the endless process most widely labelled as Death.

Speaking about death, my g-grandma issue has gotten me thinking alot about the definition and meanings beyond words about death. where do we go after we're gone? i think i might be the only teenager to think so deeply into the foul, forbidden and unlucky thing called death. could death be like a dream, that when you're dead, you wake up again in a time and place as if you were sleeping and then you live your life, and then you die again, and the process goes on and on.. these are some things we'll never know.. probably because no one has ever experienced it fully and told us how it is.. so to know it is like a one way experiment, my thoughts and hypothesis about this issue in my head are waaayy more complicating than words can describe, no matter how much i soo wanna spill it out, its almost impossible to translate thoughts into words, especially on issues like this, imagine, someone or something with a life, that can move, communicate, talk, and then without warning, become something lifeless which can no longer move, nor talk.. its scary at the thought of it, but it is almost impossible to be shunned away from it in the walk of life, its just something we've got to accept, unexpectedly or not, shocking or not... as i said, its hard to understand words extracted from the mind.. p.s. im NOT thinking suicidal!!...

I just realised this could be my longest ever blog post, actually ive been planning this over pizza and lasagne at the dining table with my 2 grannies.. erm.. watching..

p.s. to anyone who has posted unruly comments on people's blogs and reading this, you should be really really ashamed of yourself!! you're probably jealous because we all have blogs and you dont! oh btw, u can try making one for yourself! its easy.. theres blogspot, xanga, blogdrive, freewebs, erm.. lots more which i cant really remember! but i suggest blogspot, cause im using it! haha.. and you can add those lil chatterboxes on your page so others can post idiotic insults and comments about you on it!! ya knoe what i mean raaaiigghhtt?? ;)

prepare for the worst, hope for the best....

I came home from school today to realize there wasnt any food on the dining table, only to find out that my great-grandmother who had been residing in my house for the past 1 week had been admitted into the emergency ward at UH.

being 90+, she wasnt looking really good the past few days, and her legs were constantly trembling, her auditory organs werent functioning well and she would usually stare blankly into thin air and at times, start talking to grandma bout her old past.. she even talks about her usual lifestyle when she was younger in the 1990s and that she wants to go home and pick buahs behind her wooden house back in Tangkak, Muar which she shifted away from 4 years ago..

this morning, my maid found her trembling again when she got off her bed and when grandma came home from the market with her breakfast, only to find her unconscious on the living room chair.. my grandma, in an obvious state of shock and fear, began panicking, which brought the attention of my dad, sister, and then.. of course, our neighbour..

Sadhu, thank god she's conscious now and taking in drips..
Prepare for the worst, Hope for the best...

.......

sigh, everytime i wanna write about something, it just keeps disappearing in my head! ill try and dig it out though, for the sake of fulfilling the purpose of this blog as a blog and not solely on a chatterbox

First of all, i would like to remind myself and everyone in tmn sea who actually reads my blog that our mid-term examinations are just round the corner and i dunno if all of you are actually making an effort in preparing, for all i know, im the lazy, anti-books, computer-addict as always

tmn sea had our Temasya Sukan ke-29 last Saturday and from what i see, it wasnt as good a turnout as the years before, but this was the first time we held an invitational relay event where other schools would come and compete in for a small, half-palm sized medal, sadly only 3 schools came out of the god knows how many schools invited, our school formed teams A and B just to add the extra challenge in it
i collected 5 medals altogether and in addition to that, rumah hijau won overall champions AND the best house booth decoration, we missed out on the marching award which we highly expected to have won but well, gotta give the other houses a chance :P

and today was our HM's retirement day, it was sad that she had to retire so soon being 55 and above but im sure everyone wished she couldve stayed on much longer. we had our usual monday perhimpunan except this time, we pardoned the unpunctual students, just for the occasion. everyone moved to the hall right after the perhimpunan and as for me, i got changed in the bilik jahitan with my fellow half-naked (top and bottom) expedition dance members. i guess it was worth it though, our dance was labelled the best dance ever in the history of smk tmn sea, god knoes how far is it true, but the teachers were all asking lots of funny questions and stuff like where'd we get all our costumes and how' we get the bamboos, well basicly my part of the dance was being the bamboo bearer and we had to wear tight-fitting baju-melayus and a sarong or wtv u call it lah. and our dance was entitled Puteri Santubong, some princess jaga-ing the gunung in Sarawak, our expedition team actually when to the cultural village located right at the foot of the mountain, so i guess the inspiration pretty much spurns from there on..

i keep telling myself im supposed to write about my experiences about coincidences yesterday, but im just too errr malas ler.. btw dad's home with supper.. and i was going to stop writing anyways...

Screw it........

Im being freaking temperamental these few days, i suggest it has something to do with the f**king weather and the darn humidity! People asking me to go out when its freaking burning outside early in the mornings without noticing me in advance, thank god it rained for the past 2 days, but of all times, it had to rain during my kembara camp! Actually i dun mind it raining anyway.. its not like i was sleeping in a tent or somethin... (seniors getta sleep wherever they want except tents!) its just that the rain had to kill so many fun activities.. so.. screw the rain! grandma's been asking alotta unreasonable and illogical questions lately, actually she does it ever since god knoes when.. but i think its fast becoming a habit, so its really really annoying.. and my dog, he doesnt respond to me all that much anymore, its either he's deaf, or i'm being really paranoid about humans communicating with dogs.. and i have soooo many un-finished things to do like homeworks*sigh*, forms and stuff.. gets me all frustrated and stuff.. in addition to that, the junk food stock in my hse is fast depleting and i hardly have time nor money to replenish it.. which means, right now, i cant munch away... :( My frens?!, sigh... some of them are starting their centralised training for the upcoming msss which i.. sadly, didnt qualify.. and then theres this cf camp.. -_-" ..... owh and theres tuitions... on a holiday!!!! dammit!! Mr. Ashwin, my drums teacher suggested that i go for extra drum practices in SIM on my own, and he expects me to go twice this week.. mr. ashwin, i hardly have time to even have my breakfast, and i dun even have enuf cash for half hour of drum-renting.. plus! ill be practising alone??! i mean come on... wheres the fun in that?!.. but somehow, i have something telling me ill be turning into a fat slouch very soon.. minus the trainings,*sighs again* i needa holiday laaarrr! amira just left for the uk this morning *bids amira goodbye* and that makes me wanna go for a deserved holiday too!! maybe somewhere around... Scotland pa??!... :p

So when i walk, and when i
so when i talk and its turning
its turning, its turning, turning, turning
turning

*Chorus
Left my suicide note on the door
Once more

The pipe is blowing
and they've start searching
Im not afraid to go
so bring me
So when i walk and when i
so when i talk and its turning
its turning, its turning, turning, turning
turning
So when you feel like love
so when you think above
and there's nobody there
and there's nobody here
so when you feel estranged and there's no complaints
Dear god, im turning, im turning, im turning
turning, turning, turning

*Chorus
I left my suicide note on the door
Baby wont you look me in the eyes once more?
once more
Lost in eyes and well it cant stand in my way
Hit me honey, i left my things down to play...

Its over....

Well, as the title goes... its over, mssd, 5 days of events and my worst performance ever...
These are my few events:
  • 100m- Despite qualifying 2nd in zone with a personal best of 11.6s, i didnt even make into the finals and clocked 12.0s which is wayyy tragic!
  • 200m- Once again qualifying 2nd in zone with a personal best of 24.2s, however in mssd, i qualified for the finals with a time of 24.8s in 7th position, and 24.5s in 5th place in the finals.. *sigh*
  • 4x100m- Ranked 1st going into mssd, but thanks to a mistake from me (of all ppl, ME!), we ended up 4th in the finals.. everyone looked soooooooo dissapointed.....
  • 4x400m- 1st into mssd, 4th ranking in heats, 3rd in finals.... salvaged my ONLY medal..*gosh*
As the saying goes "there's no use crying over spilt milk".. i pretty much convinced myself to do better next year, though im still kinda pissed about my results after all my effort put in.. i really really think i deserve better... :( ... *sigh*

p.s. At least i still have my drama!! who knoes where i might go from there ya knoe!! talk about athletics -_-... :p

i do believe, it happens for a reason.....

How would you explain? Training day after day, month after month, rain or shine, hot or cold, just to prepare for my 100m race, and on that day, totally screw it up....

Dissappointed because:
  • I spent so much time and effort
  • I clocked way OFF my personal timing
  • I got stiff just before the gun
  • I tried but i somehow couldnt focus
  • The 100m race was my hope for making it into the Petaling team
  • The winning time in the finals was 11.6
  • And 11.6 IS my personal timing!
Oh well, if only i could turn back time.. but im sure it all happens for a reason, i do believe that wtv happens, theres definately a reason behind it, and definately a reason to happen, and if you stay patient and persevere, you'll achieve what you want sooner or later.. i may have 101 excuses, but put yourself in my position, after all the effort sown, *sigh*...

March March March....

I throughly admit im too lazy to start typing in sructures.. so ill go in point form...
March:
  • I personally hate March....
  • I predict March to be a very very very busy month...
  • Perfect examples of "busy" are: Extra drum lessons... Additional Drama Practices... Insufficient time for lunch on weekdays, TRAINING!!, tuitions!!...
  • Im cultivating more and more frustration and hate towards add maths, well actually everything with maths....
  • Oscar is getting stupider by the day....
  • MSSD is in exactly 1 day and 13 hours from now...
  • Dad has started screwing me in the mornings for my inability to wake up on time...
  • Dad says i spend too much time in the bathroom in the mornings...
  • Mum starts honking away even before i put on my uniform...
  • Im getting hooked on to Warcraft...
  • I touch less books compared to the months before...
  • Im clocking 11.6s for my 100m which im supposed to be doing 11.4s by MSSD...
  • The weather is f**king HOT!!
  • I keep recieving smses from a very very annoying person....
  • I play less football....
  • I managed to divert all my songs into the much "smoother" winamp...
  • My fringe is touching my eyebrows...
  • My sideburns are starting to irritate me...
  • Im starting to NOT pay attention in accounts tuition...
  • My bicycle is starting to rust...
  • I make too many mistakes while chatting...
  • I fell in love with Disagree's Suicide Note....
  • I start to think Dave Weckl is the best drummer alive....
  • The song Galvanize by The Chemical Brothers is the most irritating... unreasonable song ive ever heard....
  • I FINALLY retrieved my expedition photos.....
Well, a little hint of whats going on in my mind for the agonizing month of March... enjoy!

Chinese New Year 2005

How would you feel, if you were rudely awokened from your beauty sleep by the clankering and distinctly irritating melodies of Chinese New Year songs?.. Frustrated is probably the word you're looking for.. imagine, playing cny songs in the car on the way back to m'cca is already bad, picture playing it at 7.30 am with the volume knob as high as it can be.. but as usual, every parent has the same excuse given, "build up the cny spirit".. crap! Oh well, apart from that, the past 2 days were filled with fun, food, ang pows, anything you could ever want from the annual trip back "home".. minus the damn humid weather of course! The most enjoyable thing would most probably be the reunion dinners and lunches.. except for the vegetarian (you got that right! VEGETARIAN!!) dinner.. my 5 year old cousin could make something much more similiar to a fish with toothpicks than what the chefs did to the "deep fried "fish"".. plus the 10 mins intervals between each dishes.. and NO wine!!.. the trauma hasnt gone, but ive been stuffing myself with meat ever since.. we even joked about buying Big Macs for everyone at the dinner.. well, i guess that'll be the first and last time we'll ever have a VEGETARIAN reunion whatsoever.. retired to grandma's old house for the night, the weather was killing! even during the night, the air was warm.. so me whole family were all ordered to bathe before going to bed, even tub water was warm! but as long as u can refresh yourself in a wonderfully clean toilet ( i washed it!! haha).. who cares??!.. Luckily, stayed in m'cca for one night only, as dad didnt see the point in staying for long coz everyone who used to be down there, are all shifted up here in kl.. those good ol days are sooo long gone.. those days when my group of close cousins played Power Rangers in grandma's old house (used to be Tun Tan Cheng Lok's Holiday Villa, located in Gajah Berang) using transporting carts and wheel-barrows, when we used to gamble around the huge table.. damn i miss those days! Oh well, times change, we change too, but the memories will stay on forever..... peace!

Sticks and stones may break my bones....

Im just too lazy these few days.. but well, ill hafta update this blog sooner or later.. generally, no main highlights in the month of January, got into a happening class, started intensive training, got the green house vice-captain post, 4 times a week tuitions, started drums, thats about it i suppose.. owh and mssd merentas desa to rap things up for january.. come into the month of February, i havent done much to usher in the much anticipated chinese new year actually, besides, its all been done for.. mum bought another small clay pond for the backyard!??! and dad brought home this funny looking balinese lamp for our garden, which really looks like a person's head amongst the plants with the tuft of hair above anything else.. scaryy.. owh and oscar's got a new cage.. haha. lets just hope he doesnt pee till the steel erodes again... ill be back in my hometown this wednesday, for one night only.. *thankfully!!* all me mum's side's relatives are all up here in kay el.. so theres really no point in staying back in m'cca for such a long time like my family used to.. i just cant wait for the reunion lunches and dinners, gambling! yeaa... haha.. a one time in a year way to earn fast money.. not to mention the red packets too! talking about red, my house looks like a taoist temple! as soon as u step into the house.. u can feel it..the vibe of redness! i dunno how to explain it.. but somehow.. it really affects me psychologically... lol.. lets just hope ill make a hefty income off this coming cny.. im dying for it! peace!

Magnificent December...

Whow.. one month since my last entry and it only seemed like one week!! Well, basicly i spent my entire December in east M'sia on an expedition, in case u need extra explanation bout the word expedition, it means travelling adventurously... It started on the 3rd of December when i stepped into a AirAsia Boeing 737 for the first time in 4 years to Kuching International Airport.. as i stepped into Sarawak soil, boy did it feel good, i was ready as ever to spend another 25 days exploring places with another 26 more magnificent people.. From national parks to towns, hotel to tents, trekking to river-rafting, caving to climbing, fun and experience came in many different ways.. as the Kelab Kembara motto goes, Embark, Explore, Experience.. but throughout the whole trip, the best of the best for me was witnessing the sunrise on the highest place in South East Asia.. a view which one who hasnt been there could only dream.. i was definately impressed by the majestic scenary of the Land under the Wind.. ill try posting pictures of my trip when i do get them, so people, please be patient.. lol.. in addition to my Magnificent December list, are my unexpected results of 7as.. boy did i surprise everyone, even myself.. but well, at least i did prove some people wrong that athletes only have brawns but no brains.. i wanna thank so many people for my recent results, but to make it short, i wanna thank everyone involved in motivating me.. especially mum and dad, for nagging at me when i was glued to the computer screen.. Pn.Molly, my tuition teacher for her science and maths notes.. and to May Vern and Jie Feng, for following me to school to collect the results and slapping me when i was whimpering nervously in the car.. i bet u guys remember that! and of course, to everyone i know.. ur love and support are very much appreciated..!! THANK YOU!! 2004 has been a really great year, so i wanna say Thank You 2004 for making me a better person than before and hello 2005! Happy New Year people!! my new year's resolution is to train myself to bring Oscar (my dog) out for walks every evening because my new maid doesnt know how to handle that little devil.. damn!!
